Beautiful Girls
"Good times never seemed so good."
Summary of the movie:
"Beautiful Girls," directed by Ted Demme from a screenplay by Scott Rosenberg, is the comic and poignant story of a group of lifelong buddies struggling to "connect" with the women who affect their decisions, dreams and desires. The film stars Matt Dillon, Annabeth Gish, Lauren Holly, Timothy Hutton, Rosie O'Donnell, Max Perlich, Martha Plimpton, Natalie Portman, Michael Rapaport, Mira Sorvino, Uma Thurman, Pruitt Taylor Vince.
A decade after their high school graduation, five lifelong buddies attend a reunion in their sleepy hometown. Ten years have passed, they've lost some of their youth and most of their innocence but none of their fears of women, marriage and growing up. The beautiful women in their lives, ranging from demanding girlfriends to flirtatious neighbors to voluptuous pinup supermodels, only add to the complications.

Natalie plays Marty - the thirteen-year old girl with "an old soul" who lives next door to Willie.
My personal opinion of the movie:
I didn't really know what to expect when I went to see it, I merely knew that almost all of my friends had seen it, and they all liked it. I did too. In fact, I really fell in love with it, and pestered my friend down at the local laserdisc shop to get me the movie on LD as fast as possible. He eventually sold me his copy of it... :-)You're definitely missing something if you don't see this movie, especially if you're a fan of Natalie's work. And, this is really Natalie's movie - not even Uma Thurman can keep up with her. See this movie and discover why!
